Childcare at the Country Church

The Country Church strives to obtain a loving and safe environment in which children are shown the love of Christ through our workers. In order to do this, The Country Church paid Nursery workers and parents/guardians have to work together.

We ask that Parents/ Guardians:

• Provide diapers, 1 complete change of clothes (including underwear if potty-trained), and formula if applicable (under 1 year of age).
• Paid workers or volunteers will not give any medication to children at any time.
• Please make workers aware of any food allergies that your child may have.
• Will not expect Nursery workers to feed your child (except for provided formula and snacks)
• We ask that breast fed babies be fed in the room or petitioned area designated for that purpose.
• Will pick up child within 15 minutes of end of scheuled event or make arrangements with another adult to pick up child. (Substitute must have name included with parent/guardian on sign-in sheet when child is dropped off).
• Only person that sign in child can pick up child even with number. If another adult is going to pick up your child, please include their name on the list along with yours.
• Must sign in child’s first and last name and parent/guardian’s first and last name.
• If you are attending a church sponsored event other than Sunday and Wednesday Night, in which Nursery is provided, we ask that you call the church office at least two days prior to event. Please provide child’s name and age so that the Nursery will be sufficiently staffed.
• Nursery services will be for newborns to 8 year olds only.
• A child will not be allowed to cry for longer than 15 minutes without a parent being notified.
• A parent/guardian will be notified immediately if a child is hurt. An accident form will be filled out by the Nursery worker on the day of the accident with a parent’s signature included. One copy will go to the parent/guardian and another copy will be kept on file in the Children’s Department Office.
• Parents/guardians will be contacted to assist in your child’s classroom occasionally during the year. We try to keep these times spaced as far apart as possible, we ask that you make this time a priority. Background checks will be required.

Safety & Security

At The Country Church we take the safety of your child very seriously. We require all workers and volunteers to have background checks at least twice a year. We also will only release a child to the adult who signed them in.

* Nursery workers are CPR/First Aid certified.
